In leather

I'm not really sure of what to think of this picture. The quality isn't great, it's a little blurry and you can't see the horse's eye which probably bothers me most.
But for some reason I still like it...

Just some explanations because I was too lazy to look up all the words yesterday
The horse in the photo is a vaulting horse during training. It has a surcingle on it's back and two pairs of side reins. This is simply because the vaulters were taking turns vaulting in walk and canter. So they used the shorter side reins for canter and the longer lauffer rein (I think that's what they're called) for the walk.
I'm not sure about the length of the side reins, I'm not an expert on horses or vaulting. In the photo the horse is standing, waiting for the vaulters to take off the shorter side reins and holding it's head very low, so the side reins do look very short.
